Vesper Royale is a boutique wallpaper and art print brand that blends hand-drawn and painted artwork with digital finishing. The founder wanted a website that would feel as premium as her products, while being practical to manage day-to-day. I was brought in to design, build, and support the entire digital presence — from product setup and custom pricing logic to catalog downloads, social media integration, and analytics.

Challenges

The project involved more than just design. The client needed:

  • Clear product structures and pricing (murals by m², wallpapers by roll, limited-edition prints).
  • High-quality imagery handling (sRGB conversions, replacement workflows, and ensuring fast load speeds).
  • Marketing integrations (Mailchimp newsletter, catalog download behind email, Pinterest and TikTok tags, Google Analytics/Tag Manager).
  • Search visibility (Google Search Console setup, SEO foundations).
  • Customer-friendly checkout with flexible shipping, local pickup in Budapest, and sample ordering options.


The challenge was to balance premium branding with technical reliability, while also empowering the founder (who described herself as “not tech-savvy”) to confidently update content without risk.

Execution

I guided the client step-by-step, combining strategic decisions with hands-on implementation:

  • E-commerce setup — Implemented WooCommerce with custom calculators for murals and wallpaper rolls, added “Order a Sample” flow, and set up local pickup.
  • Visual presentation — Refined homepage messaging (“exclusive wallpapers, prints”), adjusted layouts for better usability (switching image/text positions, ensuring lifestyle images show products clearly), and standardized collection designs.
  • Content management — Built a workflow for uploading new product images, explained sRGB conversions, ALT text for SEO, and enabled the client to manage updates safely.
  • Marketing integrations — Connected Mailchimp for WooCommerce, set up catalog downloads gated by email, integrated Pinterest/Instagram/TikTok, and configured Google Search Console and Analytics via Tag Manager.
  • Continuous collaboration — Held calls and walkthroughs to teach the client how to replace images, edit text, add articles to the Inspiration section, and maintain plugin updates.

Eredmények

The collaboration resulted in a polished, scalable site that matches the luxury positioning of the brand. The founder reported positive feedback from her audience (“everyone loved the site”), began running ads with full analytics tracking, and grew her digital presence across Pinterest, Instagram, and TikTok.

The store now handles custom pricing correctly, offers samples, and captures leads through catalog downloads.

Beyond the launch, the client appreciated the ongoing support and clarity — from technical troubleshooting to ensuring SEO visibility. The end result was not just a website, but a sustainable system for sales, marketing, and brand growth.
